Let's face it, we can't always get a full night sleep. I for one have been so busy lately I feel like sleep is a luxury I can't always afford to have. The problem is, when I don't sleep you can really tell. I get bags and dark circles under my eyes, my skin looks dull and I'm pretty irritable. Luckily I have found a few secret weapons I want to share with you! 1.GLAM GLOW BRIGHT MUD EYE TREATMENT
Most of you know I am a big fan of Shiseido eye masks but I also recently discovered these. What I love about them is that they work in 3 minutes as opposed to 15 with Shiseido. This treatment tightens and brightens the under eye are. (*Note you only need one side for both eyes per use. It will last longer that way)
This magical wand by Tarte is my ultimate secret weapon and lifesaver. It literally opens and brightens your eyes as if you just got back from a week in Cabo. No joke. The only thing I can say is just try it yourself. I cannot wait to hear how much you guys love it!
I have tried every concealer on the market. I kid you not. Nothing compares to Eve Pearl. It has two shades, one for color correction and the other to highlight (*on days when I'm REALLY tired, I add my YSL touch éclat or By Terry Touche Veloutee highlight on top as well) but generally this alone does the trick. The added bonus? You know how everyone raves about omega 3's and their importance on beauty, aging etc? This is formulated with salmon oil so it's not only covering its also protecting and preventing aging at the same time! LOVE this stuff!! (note: I use Medium/Light shade)
4. DRINK WATER. LOTS OF IT.
Just do it. Don't think about it. Actually, get up right now and drink a full glass before you finish reading this. Done? ok good. Your skin thanks you. A lack of sleep creates dehydration in your skin and you guessed it, drinking water puts that hydration right back in. Not to mention all the other health benefits. I also recently discovered this awesome tea that gives you energy and tastes great by Yogi called Positive Energy Tea. Annnnnnd yes, it does what it says. You get energy, hydration and yumminess all in one cup!
